The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, was the perfect destination for me to take one of my dearest friends away to celebrate her birthday. We wanted an easy getaway to a warm-weather destination, and St. Thomas, being a US Virgin Island, offered just that. No need for passports or customs made the trip even more appealing.
What Is The Property Like?
The resort is divided into two distinct areas: The Resort and The Residence Club. The Resort offers a range of rooms and suites, with the option of club-level access. Guests can enjoy the newly remodeled serenity infinity pool with cabanas, as well as a family-friendly pool with a slide. There are two beach areas, one of which is exclusive to Club Level guests, where non-motorized water sports are also available. The Residence Club features a beautiful, expansive beach and a large pool area.
What Type of Room Did I Stay In?
I stayed in a Club Ocean Front One-Bedroom Suite. This spacious suite, with over 1,000 square feet, includes 2 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, a living/dining room area, and two large balconies with the most gorgeous views. It was the perfect choice for our girls' trip! The suite also features Club Lounge Access, which includes breakfast, snacks, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, complimentary cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and the pressing of two garments per stay.

Sailing is one of our favorite things to do, and this destination is the perfect place for a sailing excursion. A private excursion to the BVI's is a wonderful way to spend a full day while in St. Thomas.
